This is a read-only archive of the old Open Wrt forum.
The current Open Wrt forum resides at https://forum.openwrt.org/.
When it boots up, it outputs a message "cfg80211: Calling CRDA to update world regulatory domain", but no further messages about updating the regulatory domain.
The crda package was not installed in the system, which might well explain the lack of regulatory update.
I bought this router solely for Stream Boost and it handles Qo S/traffic shaping perfectly.
My GF was playing Lo L last night and her ping didn't budge from 33ms when I downloaded an update for my laptop.
In May 2018, the Open Wrt forum suffered a total data loss.
This archive is an effort to restore and make available as much content as possible.
How do Gargoyle and open WRT handle/perform traffic classification?
No matter how well they handle packet scheduling, if they are less effective at correctly identifying traffic they will be less effective overall.
Also, does regulatory.rules need to be installed somewhere?
