To summarize, Paul does not say singleness is better than marriage for all people.
He says that if you do not need marriage to serve the Lord to the best of your ability you will be better off single.
My favorite thing about this series, along with the book it’s based off of, is how it addresses all the stages of dating that lead up to marriage in a way that is so rooted in biblical wisdom.

However, he clarifies that we all have different gifts.
Therefore if marriage would better assist you in serving God, you should seek to be married.
I just mean that we can oftentimes feel God’s pleasure or displeasure towards a relationship we are in.
Usually we feel closer to God in a relationship when we know we are linked with someone who is also seeking Christ like us.
When they’re going well, they add richness to our lives.
When they’re not, they can be the source of a lot of grief.
This makes me want to continually grow in learning how to do them well.
